At dusk we travelled along a narrow track and came to such a place as dreams are made of. Our cases were carried into the garden cottage where everything was there for our comfort.
Out on the balcony the sunset amd this sound of owls, cicadas or crickets and sight of praying mantis (so common here) made me wonder. We ate delicious homemade bread, jam and yoghurt high up on the hill in the summerhouse.
When we go home after too short a stay, we will have photographs. But even without we can at any time of stress, loneliness or old age, bring ourselves back to this paradise.

Is the Pacific Coast Highway or State Highway 25 tarsealed between Coromandel and Kuaotunu?
Yes this road was tarsealed a couple of years ago. The road to Whitianga is also tarsealed.
